The Selmer SAS511 series of intermediate alto saxophones are one of the top-performing saxophones in the world, available at a great price point, and designed after the professional line of Selmer Paris saxophones. The SAS511 series have incredible tonal complexity. This, combined with a hand-adjusted neck, Pisoni Pro pads, and a one-piece, hand-hammered bell create a tone that is not only the best in its class but a sound that outperforms many of its competitors. To protect this instrument when not in use it comes with a premium ballistic nylon case featuring comfortable backpack straps, a spacious accessories compartment, durable handles, and an outer pocket to store sheet music.

Several upgrades went into the development of this new intermediate alto saxophone, including a proprietary 3-phase tone hole leveling process which guarantees precisely level tone holes for long-lasting pad seating and stability. The blue steel needle springs create a light and fast key action for which Selmer is known, an adjustable thumb rest, and superior ergonomics provide everything needed for fast and demanding technical passages. Additionally, every Selmer saxophone is professionally set up, play-tested, and optimally adjusted at the Conn-Selmer Woodwind Center located in Elkhart, Indiana.

This particular instrument features black lacquer. It does not look like it has ever been played and is in superb condition. It has been set up in our shop and is ready to play. Includes original case and all original accessories, including mouthpiece, cap, and ligature.

We will either reimburse you to have any minor repairs completed by your local repair shop, or we will send you a label to cover all return postage charges so that we can either repair your instrument, exchange your instrument, or issue you a refund for your instrument. Please note that if you simply change your mind about the purchase of an item - if you find that it's just not the one for you - you are still entitled to a full refund. We do not routinely charge a restocking fee; however, you will be responsible for the expense involved in shipping the item back to us if you have not purchased free returns through Redo at checkout.
